A cancer specialist who treats people with surgery

Radiation Oncologist

A cancer specialist who treats people using radiotherapy

Medical Oncologist

A cancer specialist who treats people using chemotherapy and/or targeted drugs

Pathologist

A doctor who specialises in analysing the tissue (biopsy and/or tumour removed from a person) under a microscope to help decide what type of sarcoma it is.

Radiologist

A doctor who specialises in analysing scans (ultrasounds, x-rays, MRI, CT etc) in order to help make a diagnosis and determine where exactly the sarcoma is.

The team will also include specialists in palliative care, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists and radiation therapists.
